Policies

Payment:

Acceptable methods of payment are credit card and debit payments through Paypal. Paypal is a reliable, secure site. I personally use Paypal for all my electronic transactions. If you do not have a Paypal account, you can sign up at time of payment. The site is 100% secure, and the cost to buyers is nothing. Please note: The contact e-mail address on this web site differs from the Paypal payment address, which will be sent via e-mail upon order confirmation. Please do not use the web site e-mail for payments.

Shipping:

I ship via USPS First Class Mail for a flat $2.50 shipping and handling charge in USA, or via Priority Mail for $4.65. Insurance is available if you would like, for $1.35 up to $50 value, $2.20 for $50-99, and $3.30 for $99 and up. Shipping and insurance options may be selected at time of checkout. I also ship a flat rate of shipping on packages going to CANADA via USPS for a flat rate of $2.50 first class mail, and a flat rate EVERYWHERE ELSE for $3.50 via USPS. If shipping out of the country and you would prefer to ship with insurance, this can also be arranged. Once packages leave my hands they usually only take from 2-5 days within USA and from 6-10 days out of the country. :o)

Custom orders may take approx. 2.5 weeks until shipping. Please allow extra time for this and possibly longer around the busy holidays of Christmas and Mother's Day.

Returns:

We want you to be totally happy with your purchase from Accessory à la Mode. On non-custom orders, if you are not 100% completely satisfied with your item you may return it unused and in its original condition for a full refund. You must email us first within 5 days to get a return authorization number before returning item/(s). Items must be returned within 10 days of purchase, and customer is responsible for all return shipping costs. Original shipping costs will not be refunded. On custom orders, unfortunately, I cannot accept returns due to the nature of the product, however, I will work with you on all the details so that we have the correct info before I start your order.

Privacy Policy:

We are committed to protecting your privacy. Any personal information and email address you provide to us will only be used to process your order, reply to your email inquiries, or send newsletters, if applicable. This information will never be shared with any other company or person, for any reason.

Product Care:

For shiny sterling silver, when storing your jewelry, ensure that you place it in an air tight bag and keep it in a dark place such as a jewelry box to keep it from tarnishing. In the event that it does tarnish, gently clean it with a jewelry polishing cloth. Refrain from using any harsh chemical products as it will damage the beads and stones on the jewelry.

For oxidized jewelry, brass and copper, the metal has already been aged so you do not have to keep it in a dark place or anywhere protective from light. To clean, rub slightly with a cloth not containing tarnish protective as you would want to keep the darker color. A simple washcloth without any chemicals or soap is perfect.
